Morning all - lovely cold, crisp, sunny winter's dayimage

Hope you enjoy your day DD - 'fraid I don't get running for pleasure at all - never have never willimage 8 miles sounds like torture.

Big Christmas Fair in town today. Half tempted to venture in as it's such a glorious day but it's a really big whole-town 4 day event - coaches from all over the country and near continent. I've been when the weather was iffy and it was heaving then - so will probably be Meadow Hell on steroids today. Perhaps I'll give it a miss....

Sorry to hear you're not sleeping Hosta - but glad to hear the white bits have nearly goneimage - keep up the good work! I haven't got any white bits either - I'm white all over at the momentimage

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Out for dinner tonight, and its my job to bring nibbles - so heading out for the ingredients for sticky sausages and breaded mushrooms image

Just been for a stroll round the garden in my (not purple) dressing gown and ........I CAN SEE SNOWDROPS imageimageimageimageimageimageimage

  • Good morning Chicky image  We've had a couple of clumps of native primroses out for over a month now, but I don't think the snowdrops have appeared yet ................. I'l have to have a look ...................

  • Nope ... can't see any, but they may be hiding under the layer of fallen leaves.  I usually leave most of the one that fall on the 'Wilderness' as it's meant to be a 'woodland bed' and needs the humous.

    Hi all.

Just got up, oh. well it is still morning I suppose.

Lovely and sunny, so will go and stare at the sun for a while, very good for the mood enhancing hormones.

    My Snowdrops are appearing too.

    Hope party goes well fidget.

One of my snowdrops is showing, it's a rare breed called "Grumpy" because it has a grumpy green face on one of it's petals. I won it in a Garden Club competition.

Unfortunately they had sold out of the crackers when I arrived at the fair. But I bought a small Christmas pudding and a couple of paperback books (in English). They'd also sold out of bacon sandwiches early on so I had a hotdog and a glass of mulled wine. Met a new friend who I sorted clothes with yesterday.

Wonky; no electric blanket here. I gave mine to my father when I moved in with his lordship as he wouldn't tolerate the idea of one. I did have two hot water bottles on the go at one point!

Picked his lordship and his friend up around midnight so at least we weren't out too late. I'm not one for crowds and there were more than enough people out on the street of Sheffield for my liking at midnight so Christ knows how rammed those streets will be today.

Punkdoc; I am enjoying THE Missing but with my brain / memory issues I have to have a post it note to remind me of the time jumps else you can imagine it is quite the confusing experience.

I've just finished the first stint of ironing (bed sheets), I might leave the shirts til tomorrow.
