    Morning all.

Hope you enjoy the dance DD. Will you have enough energy left to dance after an 8 mile run?image

I'm going to a Christmas fair today near Riberac run by some of my English friends. Last year there were some really pretty home made crackers. I hope there are this year. They aren't sold in France and as we've been to England by plane instead of car I've run out. It's my turn to have the family this year.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Started bright and sunny but greying over a bit now.  Staying dry though.

We were set for a crackerless Xmas here but now have to go back to Belgium for a few days for some bureaucratic stuff so may fit in a raid on the British supermarket and get OH a mini Xmas pud while we're on and mint jelly for Possum.

DD - have a good time at the dance.   Can you not record Strictly?  If not, the dances will probably pop up on Youtube fast enough.

Is it just me or does the dictionary on here really not learn when I add British English spellings?

Fidget - hope OH is doing well and that the celebrations go well today.

Clari - I hope you're tucked up warm under the duvet.  When we moved in to our house in Belgium in 1993 it was still a building site - no hot water, no heating, plaster in only one room, ladder to get upstairs to it, no windows on the back wall (north facing), just chipboard, and it was February and -15C in the daytime!   Brrrrrr!   We had a gaz canister with  a heating element to take off the chill and 5 cats to keep us warm as well as the duvet and ski socks and thermals.   Wouldn't do it now I'm 27.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    Morning all, evening Pat,

Bright  and Sunny day here, havent tested the temperature yet as still sat in bed, purple dressing gown and second coffee on with Harrie cat trying to convince me to feed her.

Decided to venture into town for a browse, I know I will regret this but now I'm decided, I won't be deterred!

Hope everyone has pleasant weather and a lovely day ahead!

Hubby is feeling better this morning. Courtesy car has come. Same size car but smaller engine, manual gearbox, no safety pack, no winter pack. No idea how long it will take to put a new rear on the old one.image

Fridge full, shopping done, wine at 4c outside at the moment.image

    Have a good day folks.image

    Morning all.

It gets no better. the usual lack of sleep compounded by at least one ( no more needed ) mozzy in the bedroom. 1.30am found me patrolling the corridors of the hotel until I found a Maids' trolley and borrowed some Mozzy Spray. Eventually fell asleep around 3 ish. image

Still, there's a lovely sunny beach waiting for me.

p.s. white bits nearly all gone . image ( walking on sand dunes )

    Devon.
