    Good morning all image

Amazing pink sky this morning - Shepherds warning!  Dentist for a checkup this morning then we're planning to visit an arts centre in Suffolk. They have a little cafe so that's lunch taken care of.

I planted pots of Narc. Minnow yesterday with asmall leaved variegated ivy on the top.

I've still got a few empty pots ... I might have to get some more bulbs .... image

I have bulbs to plant but my tomatoes are still going (Central/West London) and I need the pots. Seems a shame to just throw the tomatoes out. Grape muscari are coming up everywhere though.

A funny year, isn't gardening a Hoot. image

I know I am relatively new here, but is it just me that finds that the wink emoticon looks like a pirate. image

There's a lot to be said for a piratical wink image

Morning all, hello Dove and Daisy.

Going for a shoulder Xray today. Still hurts and wakes me at night. First went to the Doc about it in May. He told me not to lift things, not to get the logs in and asked how much gardening I do, well that is all part of life.

Just counted my bulbs still to plant, 217 tulips (some were birthday pressies), 39 alliums and 50 anemones. Done the daffodils. Still lots of pansies, violas and daisies to put in pots, but some of the summer plants are still in flower.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
