Not a huge chocolate tart fan but am loving the look of that fruit tart - and what a pretty plate!.
Pheasant and veg going into the slow cooker in a min, then running OH over to Hobbycraft - he needs some more paint.
Ma used to get terrible migraines but although I've had the visual disturbances (only enough to count on the fingers of one hand) I've never had the pain - I'm so lucky............... there I go again ........
Right - got my pinny on ......... pheasant! Here I come ..................

Please don't try to be grumpy, Dove, you're just fine how you are.
I get grumpy, but it doesn't last long and I don't bear grudges. I tend to forget the horrid times. But I'm not an extrovert cheerful person either.
Probably going to a GC today, to buy Christmas cards! That's if they do them in Norfolk like they do in East Sussex. French cards are expensive and not that nice, they don't have the tradition of sending them like we do.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Anyone got any raspberries to go with that choccy tart?
and some cream....
T'bird - you can never have too many young men in uniform...
I felt sorry for the one who was " puffin' and' peckin' " as we would say here. Think he would have given anything to be back in his bed! A couple of them were having difficulty negotiating the little downward scramble too. There must have been about forty or fifty in a couple of groups. I suppose it's something we take for granted, that these lads are fit, but it's a different thing entirely going up a hill and they have to do a fair bit to get the hang of it. I certainly would't fancy carrying their backpacks....size of a small child....
I missed your view chciky - glorious
It's brightened here so I think I'll get outside and do something productive
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Sorry that some folks had a bad nights sleep, I have to confess, it may have been our music.....sorry friends came over and we had an impromptu party to celebrate....well the weekend, the new job, life....all of the above
Great night....thank goodness for the clocks going back! so that means I went to bed at 5 not 6
Guilt free though as I did everything I needed to get done yesterday...slow cooker is full of beef and redwine with dumplings to add.
Think it maybe a purple dressing gown day welcome to the club Lirio, jam counts!
You'll have to share Wonky's beef and dumplings Joyce, there's not a lot on a pheasant and there's got to be enough left for pasties tomorrow, not to mention making stock for some soup later in the week ...
We're back home - leftover cauliflower cheese from Friday heating though in the oven for lunch and a few bits of ir*ning to do until it's ready ...

Out of bed for the second time and the sun is shining
I quite enjoy raking up dry leaves so will get on with that after a coffee.

Sitting in carpark outside Hobbycraft listening to radio. Anyone want any shopping done?

Only if the shopping comes along with a chef Dove
