Well I'm happy now. After being advised that -  did I know that I can be a real pain in the A..  sometimes, the vacuuming under the bed got done after the OTHER pain in the A.. got up from his computer, and did it. I promptly got the mop going and it now smells lovely in the room. Just the bed to be made with fresh linen and a tidy up and it will be ready for the visitors.image

Good morning all image G'day Pat image  It obviously takes one to know one image

Hosta, my OH is joining you at the coal face today. Not usual for him but they're short staffed so ...  And as we have a trip to Lincs it'll be an evening journey. Back tomorrow evening.

    Morning all/afternoon Patimage

The spare room tends to get used as a bit of a dumping ground so I know how you felt PatimageI'm always relieved when I've cleared it.

It's to be another sunny day so a drive down the coast is on the cards.

spare room and dumping ground are interchangeable terms here too - littlest chicklet uses it as an extension to her bedroom, and she has inherited the messy gene.  We used to laugh when she was younger - she would leave her clothes in a heap on the floor exactly where they fell and then step away ......it looked like a snowman had melted.  Her sister, meanwhile, gets twitchy if everything is not "just so".  Obviously nature and not nurtureimage

Off to Southampton for a shopping day today .....someone has been promised a new handbag imageimage

Sorry to hear Mrs Pdoc is searching for work.  Hope she finds something (close to home) very soon.

    Hi all.

Just woken up, really am catching up on the sleep.

I have told OH that she better get another job, how can we keep having extravagant holidays if she doesn't.

Glad you're catching up on the sleep Pdoc image  Good luck to Mrs Pdoc - been there and done that - not a lot of fun but it was surprising what opportunities appeared after a spell taking on some agency posts.  Fingers very crossed for her.
