Planted some of my parsnips have to be careful how you take them out, one fell over and broke, but I can still use it, don't water them before or they fall apart.
Used the spade to dig a hole to put 4 rolls in.filled it back with old compost.
Then I covered them with my little greenhouse, because they hadn't been hardened off.
Their in the front garden and People keep asking me why have I planted milk containers. I say I'm trying to grow them. Kids believe it at first.
Planted some mature Hyacinth and Daffodils under some meduin sized gold conifers. Slightly dry area but should suit the Hyaciths more that the Daffs. Will give them a mulch to conserve moisture.
Repainted my shed and layed down stepping stone in my my shady area from an arch to the beginning of the second lawn
Continued chopping the hedge down a bit to make it more manageable. Shame I can't reach across the whole way unless I go over to the neighbours side. Will have to get some help holding the ladder ?
Fertilised and mulched the roses, fish blood & boned (yes, it is a verb....?) the whole garden and removed the fleeces from the trachelospermum jasminoides and the cordyline.
Planted out some foxgloves grown from seed last October - approx. 4 inches tall and becoming pot bound. Spent an hour at a lovely garden centre this aft and then the sun appeared - hurray!

I have done some searching and think it is Carex Pendula/Sedge... it's a beast and very invasive in my garden.
Lots done at allotment today
