Oh Logan, not Christmas deccies already!!! How are the doggies doing? Ah, I geddit, you are using the Runner beans to decorate the hall, nice homely touch
Taking a bit of break right now. Been digging up dahlias and a huge canna this morning. I heard a chain saw going, I looked across the back alley and my customers dead tree in her front yard is coming down. Her boys have been promising to do that for her, good they finally got around to it, two fire men and a cop, I don't think they need my help.lol
Popped to GC this morning picked up a J anemone Q charlotte - couple of trays of winter bedding and a pennisetum, few more bulbs and some grit to sit the giant allium bulbs on which arrive the other day.
Got back to top dress the lawns and overseed.
Could do with some more plants though, anyone know any online suppliers having a sale?
How come your taking your dahlias and canna out already Johnny? I tend to leave them until the end to get every last bit out of them.
Did 'buckets full' of trimming, pruning and tidying today. My main job was preparing the pond and surrounding plants for the Autumn - pulling lily pads, weeding, moving some rockery stones and trimming back a few over-hanging branches etc. (managed to slip and kick my own leg: massive bruise!)
The pond netting will be going on soon. I have a gorgeous large Japanese Acer by the pond, my favourite part of the garden, but some serious netting is required to avoid filling the pond with leaf-fall.

Cleared the runner beans.
Decorating the hall.
I'd rather be outside.
