Lots of ivy removed from wall of house and fences, now shredded (the ivy that is, although the fences are definitely on their last legs!) Fence repairs underway before the next "Don't worry, a hurricane is not coming our way" is uttered by some random weatherperson!

Just to say have made good use of spent grow bags Planted potatoes 1st September and are up and growing a little to fast I think I want to harvest for christmas lunch they could be ready before then I will plant more a little later if they turn out like last year I will be more then pleased While on the subject of potatoes. rember early in the year I planted TPS and was pleased with the results More about thã later battery needs charging
went down garden to check all ok but wind had blown my apples and pears off but on a good note HAVE AT LAST GOT SPUDS UP will spray next week if dry and no wind

Hello , I take spent grow bags and pots to allotment for compost bins or dig into soil
Only tried once to grow potatoes for Christmas , unfortunately the bag got frozen solid , way it goes
I looked at the garden as I ran to the back door out of the rain and wind. Does that count?

I picked the last of the sweet corn. Not the best year we have had. I also sowed seeds of salad leaves in the greenhouse.
Planted some crocus and some weeding. Pulled up some pot marigolds,put them in compost bin.
