Oh Verdun, you've done it again! You have mentioned a plant, I've googled it to see what it's like and oh no it's calling my name. This time it's your dahlia Clar de Line, it's so pretty and would fit in perfectly in my front garden. You couldn't recommend a bright, vibrant orange dahlia could you while you're at it please.?
Thank you Verdun, Bishop of Oxford looks promising, l really like it's dark foliage in contrast to the vibrant flowers. I have a new appreciation of orange flowers this year, planted with lots of different blue flowers and a few hot pinks for a real hit of colour.
Helinium Sahins Early flowerer is a stunner, bought one after seeing it at Rosemoor, l hope it makes it through the winter. My cannas didn't flower this year, just gave me wonderful foliage . I've not seen a agastache, I'll have to Google it, sorry l just can't see the beauty in kniphophias. Geum Tangerine is a great plant, it looked stunning with geranium Azure Rush. Geum Mai Tai is very pretty too, but not as long flowering sadly.
Geum Cooky has a dainty little orange flower too - I have sown a few seeds so hoping to get a nice display next year. I don't know Mai Tai and if I remember rightly Tangerine is quite a large plant lilysilly.
I'm liking geum Cooky GD, looks very bright and vibrant, pretty leaves too. Geum Mai Tai is compact, the flowers are a lighter orange that fade to peach with a hint of pink. Mine only had one flush of flowers, l dead headed but l didn't get any more stems. It was its first season so I'm hoping for better next year after its settled in. Totally Tangerine has been a real showstopper. It does get quite tall, but the foliage looks great, and mine is still sending up new flower stems now. Good luck with your seeds. Was it you that grew Mrs Bradshaw from seeds? I remember someone did and they were lovely in photos they posted.

I love Clare de Lune. She looks lovely with dark ones like Arabian Night or Nuit d'été
