Moved the pots of treasures we bought from shade to sun - well, I started but now I need OH to help with the big ones and he's away.  Potted on my new Japanese maple while I was on.  Buried some ruby giant crocuses in the only bit of grass that looks vaguely lawn-like while OH wasn't there to moan.   Hacked back a wrongly planted and rampant but beautiful scented yellow honeysuckle that was swamping a hibiscus.   Just need to dig out the roots when OH gets back and transplant it somewhere more suitable.  Took cuttings just in case.

Had to come indoors to cool off so now I'm making quince jelly with neighbours' offerings.  Lovely stuff.

I dug some dahlias up and planted tulips and alliums.  The rest of the dahlias are still flowering, and the Salvia Amistad still look so gorgeous I can't bring myself to dig them up yet.

Moving some unwanted plant out of a bed yesterday and planted a few plants before the frosts forecast this week, looks like I'll be busy lifting the dahlias / canna and emptying pots for winter plants this week.

Just manged to mow the lawn when I got back from work, goes dark fast now clocks have gone back image dunno why the clocks go backwards image .

I do that FidgetB can bare pull out a plant until it finished.

Got loads of bulbs to plant as well. Got some giant alliums , they are the size of a tennis ball image I can just image chopping them in half next year when I messing around image
