It's centigrade. I remember several years ago we had a temp of +20 for Christmas day, the next day the temp had plunged to -15. That's just how it can be living next to the Rocky Mountains and it makes gardening a challenge. The constant hard freezes and quick thaws all winter long restricts what perennials will survive here. However my area has recently been bumped up a notch warmer on the hardiness zone, we were a zone 3.
It's a beautiful day here on the Notts, east Derbyshire border. 17c and sunny after a miserable grey day yesterday. It's been a pleasure to potter in the garden where there is still some colour arond.
Beautiful here too - 18 degrees and full sunshine. Lovely garden homebird and yes still colourful. I envy you your trellis fence - it wouldn't last a season here with the strong winds that we sometimes get (not today though)
Yes, lovelly garden. Lovely weather here too 18d, probably the warmest October day this year (got all the washing done, including thick sofa covers!, meant to be 7d tonight which ironically, will be the coldest night of October so far!
Last forcast said 3d last night, so out with th torch getting in pots of fuschias and pelargoniums, it was 8d when I got up, bit of mist, then a very pleasant 13d sunny, took the dogs up the Downs, this after noon grey and dull
