GWRS, You stick a bit more out into the North Sea in that part of the UK. "yous can lend me Ganzi or strap a sheep te ya back", only kidding the one word that drives me up the wall is "You can LEND me what ever it is. It is either Borrow or I loan it to you never you can lend me thingee.
Very cold (for here) ground frozen oddly no frost but light flurries of snow instead, has not settled YET. Mostly grey but the sun is poking through at times- we will see.
We've been having light flurries of snow in mid Norfolk since about midnight ... now it's started in earnest ... it's snowing so heavily that the rooms have darkened and we need lights on to read or draw .... temp in the sheltered back garden is hovering around 0C and most of the grass is hidden.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Well so far so good we have had light flurries all day except at school pick up time when it biffed down for about 10min. Can still see the grass poking through but not settled on paths or roads etc-YET. If you can stay out of the wind it's not too bad. I have managed without the heating all day but did confine myself to the Kitchen this pm- Leek & potato soup anyone
It only got to 3 degrees here today, with sun and an icy wind. Got lots of layers on,and OH succumbed to long johns! Now the forecast says no snow! Wales.
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.

This last hour,a light dusting of snow, breezy and very cold.
No snow here yet, but it is due later today/tonight. Hopefully if it does come, it won't last more than a day or two.
We have a tree to plant at the w/end and NOTHING is going to get in the way of our plans! ......
In the meantime it is a lovely sunny day - but oh that wind is cold.
