20:30 and I've put his lordship to bed. He was still throwing up as he got ready for work and again once he was at work. Even I wondered if some of it were food related. He still seems unwell, not to mentioned shattered!
My friends are updating Facebook with photos of their date nights... me? I've found a lovely book to read on social history. Bliss!
Thanks to those who have left their best wishes after my last post. The last few days have been draining, sorting through paperwork and belongings, waiting for the coroner to contact us, starting to plan a funeral, and so on. The whole family has been so supportive of each other though, we are very lucky to have that.
Not managed much in the garden other than watering/feeding and cutting the odd flower.
I had an interesting experience last evening. We were sitting in the lounge room watching TV and (in my case, colouring) when I felt something moving around under my top. Several attempts to stop my imagination without results meant taking my top off and a little centipede slipped out. Hubby stamped on it.
Pondering this morning about how it got there, I realised that when I get firewood from the wheelbarrow and carry it in, I pile it up into the crook of my left elbow so that I have the right hand free for opening the door. Ah, I thought, that's how it got there. It was probably living in the wood. unpleasant thought. They can really hurt if they nip.
Off soon for my walk. Supposed to clear and be good up there. Looking forward to it
I can't get the tennis Joyce - don't have the sports channel. Shame about Nadal
But what about those hockey girls! It wasn't looking good when I went to bed so I was thrilled to see that result when I got up I've lost track but we must be looking good to beat that London tally of medals - or certainly will be very close. Superb stuff.
Have a great day all - whatever the weather....
I'll catch up later
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
We've got blue sky, bright sunshine and a light breeze. Not quite what I was expecting. .... When's this gale coming then? I've got all my hatches battened down
