There are lots of caves in Dordogne. The Gouffre de Padirac has an underground river and you ride in a boat as you said, but it's some way from here. The cave we saw today has marks of bears scratching the walls and a few paintings.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

BL ,  caves are fascinating. Your pic reminds me of a large cave situated between Interlaken and Thun.

You will be ready for a rest once the family go back home but lovely to have had all the g'childrenimage

Evening all. Lovely photos. That white cat is fabulous. Not a splash of colour on it. Caves - one of the things that I can admire in a photo but could never go into - very claustrophobic.

need to get up and get going soon - town day.

bushman, thinking of you. Been there and done that, as they say. Long time ago though - 1971. i have a very good life now. image

Bushman, such a lot of people on here have gone through what you're going through, and come out stronger.  We're behind you all the way.

Vera (the white cat) thanks you for the compliment, Pat...  we used to have her sister too, both rescued, both white, Gracie with blue eyes and Vera with green.  image

    Beautiful prize Fairy!

I accidentally fed the dog tripe instead of meat chunks (both are in the same bags in the freezer). The smells he is creating while I'm trying to drink tea in bed are most offensive.

Went and swapped some plants with parents as we met up for a meal. I now have a LOT of basil. Not sure what we're eating tonight but it'll be basil laden!

Good morning looks not to bad out there

beginning to wish we had cats! Came down to woofies this morning to find the one usually crated is back to his old tricks, an egg box (12) was in his bed, prefect condition but the 3 eggs in it gone! He just doesn't seem to be able to help himself he is a Compulsive thief!  The crate is trashed and not fixable. think he will have to stay outside at night, he has a kennel which he uses so think he would be ok

Clari maddening when you know it's your fault, charcoal tabs? Glad you had a good evening with family

    have a good day
