Had a fantastic weekend at Glastonbury 3 years ago, most clothing was subsequently burnt. Hoping to get tickets again, but they are always sold out in about 5 minutes, so you have to be very lucky.

Morning off. I have today off work as I had to book it as holiday because the rota for this week didn't come out til Saturday and we've British gas coming to fit a new meter so I couldn't tell when my day off would be.
Yesterday I picked all the blackberries at his lordships request ... he then proceeds to tell me he doesn't like blackberries I'm making blackberry sauce for going over ice cream as I know that will freeze well. Any other suggestions? I was planning on leaving them for the birds!
We also got rid of the awful hawthorn bush thing of spiky hell yesterday. Been meaning to do it since we moved in Now I can make a bigger effort in tidying up that area to open up around the pear tree. His lordship did snap my fork helping, at least that's my Christmas present sorted.

Steve did you use an app or programme for your 5k? I gave up on the app I used as it didn't adjust to my stride meaning it kept telling me to slow down when I was just walking. Felt like I was going backwards.
Good to see you Steve. Well done with your 5k - it's much harder to do something when you have to self motivate. You have to kick your own butt when you don't feel like heading out
Will it be chilly there at that time of year chicky? Have you got a nice fur hat 'a la Anna Karenina'

Lovely days here, making cakes this morning for a little tea party for Charlie's 9th birthday tomorrow. he is insisting on helping so I thought at least if we do them a day early I have a chance to 'rescue' them before his pals turn up. Big birthday event is a boy's night out to the cinema on Saturday. Sadly, the day after his birthday is back to school day, not an easy date 31st of August for a birthday but luckily here it's not the cut off day for the school age so he isn't the youngest is the class like he was in the UK.
