    Morning Joyce,

he is about 4 but was a rescue so we not sure of background, he is perfectly behaved during the day but just can't help himself at night, he onced crunched a light bulb hence the crating which he accepted fine. Vet likened him to a teenager taking the car without asking!

I think we might have to return to the stuffed Kongs , frozen. Usually keeps them busy for hours ?

Clari, you've reminded me of when we had the Angora Goats (about 40 of them). Every weekend we used to be given a huge bag of stale left overs from the bakery which included everything from bread to pies, cakes, and empanatas. We'd take the bag into the paddock and be mobbed by them in their eagerness, but the farts would almost asphyxiate us. image

Lily P - sounds like separation anxiety - leaving the radio on a 'voice' station used to work for our lab who panicked when the children and I weren't around.

If that doesn't work it might be worth rigging up a recording of your voice triggered by a motion sensor - if he hears your voice when he gets agitated that might do it.  Technology is so cheap nowadays it ought to be easy for some techy person to rig up.

Lantana, you probably mean Katoomba image and the Jenolan Caves.

Have had a full day of running around town and various tasks around the house. No gardening, but it was so windy that I probably wouldnt have tried anyway.

    have a good day all.

Oh Lilly! We've had our problems with Reggie but never serious chewing fortunately. His whole behaviour calmed down when we switched him to raw food but have you thought about a thunder jacket? They're meant to be very soothing for stressed dogs (I'm getting one for the fireworks season).

Love your cave pix BL - reminds me of Italian grottos. I do love a grotto....wonder if I could fit one in here....image image

Lovely plant supports Liri - what a great prize top get. I'd definitely be keeping those! They make nice statements in the garden over winter anyway - even if you don't have a suitable plant for them to support... image

Could be handy for marking bulb areas if you ever worry about digging them up or spearing them. Not that I have experience of that of course....image

Perhaps you could 'thatch one up' as  a little house for MrToad  image

Glad he's safe and relatively unscathed.

Horrible damp cold day here. Just as well I'm at work . Better get back. No rest for the wicked. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
