Morning All, quite a weekend in many ways!! However stuff starting to work out and as for Rio.  A bit tired as i watched Murray's comeback, what a game of tennis!!!  even the weather has decided to play as well,  a lovely morning here.  Wonkey i can recommend a hot toddy of Honey and whisky although mine tend to be more whisky than honey image and thanks for the wonky hug it means a lot.

    Morning all.

After a very hot and sticky night, I eventually woke at 9.27!!!!!

Very breezy but not a cloud in the sky.

Lots to do before returning to the coal face tomorrow.

I'm glad you're all enjoying the Olympics.

For a relatively small population, we do seem, ( to someone who knows , nor cares nowt  about sport ) to be punching above our weight.

Hope you all get through the day with your lack of sleep. I empathise.

Thankfully Dragons' Den was on last night, otherwise I'd have had nowt to watch.

    Devon.

Thank you for your recommendations of added ingredients to my honey and lemon Dr Forkers! I did as I was told and made myself a grownup honey and lemon! image slept soundly, not sure anyone near me did! image woke at 9.30 to being sat on by a hungry cat! image

I think I'm the only person in the world that isn't watching the Olympics but then not having a TV doesn't help I suppose, I read about the results but think I'd go stir crazy spending that much time sat down watching TV.

Bushman, Wonky hugs are more effective if you have a course of them, so here's another! image although this is a difficult time, you have friends here that are all rooting for you to carve an outcome you can be happy in! I know you said the flat you found doesn't have a garden but its amazing why you can do. My last flat looked over an unused garden, I negotiated that I would do the gardening if I could use it! Now I've moved to the downstairs flat and walk out onto my garden every day! image I'm sure there must be some kind of garden share scheme, labour for use type thing, and if I've just invented something brilliant then I want royalties!

Best wishes to everyone of you lovely people!

    Good morning all image

Late on parade today - blame Andy, Usain and the fact that we have a house guest.  We  had a lovely day at the coast yesterday - heading off for a different seaside today.

Bushman - onwards and upwards my friend image

Wonky - take care of yourself and get well soon ((hugs))

See you all later ............. have a good day folks image

Late  one for me too Dove, stayed up and watched the 100 metres.  What a match Andy had, one of the best I've ever seen.  It must be a record for broken service games in one match.

Beautiful sunny day today.  Will try and get in the garden as I feel I've been locked away with 'The Quilt' for long enough.

Success over bureaucracy !!  The men from the Traffic Alliance have been and agreed  to remove the concrete blocks from the cycle lane, giving me disabled access to the gate.  Common Senseimage

Result Joyceimageimage.  It's not often that common sense enters the equation when it comes to bureaucracyimage.
