One of the birds has nudged the camera so it's pointing at the entrance hole now. I'll have to try and realign it with a stick
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I made an essential work journey although it was only 200 yards and I went on foot so it counts as exercise. Anyway there were two little lizards sunning themselves on a fence post on my commute so I snapped a quick photo.

Lovely to see. I have common lizards in the garden, so no naughty walk needed.

Mrs Blackbird has a nest in the hedge and is sitting on eggs. The pair of mallards we see each Spring are back and settled on the pond. The robin is busily taking mealworms off in two diirections. We think he has one wife in a nest at the front of the house, and another on the back of the garage wall in a box. No wonder he looks frazzled.

I moved one of my blue ceramic balls, only to find it full of woodlice and this spider.  Too slow taking the photo, a robin swooped down and took it from under the camera.

How lovely @wild edges. Gorgeous photo.
I'm missing seeing them on the hills, although it's still early for them to be out and about.
My resident froggy was looking lively today. I got a pic, but I haven't 'done' it yet. This new photo editor is a bit faffy.

The Scops Owls are now here in force, batting back and forth their tree-froggy calls, always a seasonal landmark.
