    Evening all.

Been for my driver re education course today, actually quite interesting, although whether it will change my habits, who knows!

Sadly had a bit of a panic attack, on Sunday evening, so OH had to forgo a days pay to take me, so a very expensive experience.

Thanks for asking, but no more neighbour trouble, I think the voyeurism issue will not be pursued, so just need to await the next unpleasantness.

    Have a good evening

Sorry to hear about the panic attack Pdoc. I'm fortunate in that I've never had one , but family members and my best friend have suffered at times. Glad you've got an OH who can be supportive. Partners like that are worth their weight in diamonds!

So Mr Dewdrops is having two birthdays, just like the Queen! ;-). W'll still expect to share his cake! :-)

Punk can we do the course with you by proxy?

Bad journey home thro horrendous traffic and the standard of driving was atrocious   On my way to the motorway I was behind a cyclist for a mile, due to road traffic cones there was no way I could pass when we got to the roundabout and I flagged him down to ask him why he wasn't using the cycle lane he gave me a mouthful about having as much right to be on the road as me.  As those of us from Glagow say "Dear God in Govan,"!!  As I drove away I saw him taking down my number!! Waiting for a visit from the cops,

bad day today, think I will go for a bath and end the day.

  • Dove, haha, like the queen. He decided he wanted burger, chips and beans for dinner tonight, a 'kids tea' as we call it! I can't imagine the queen eating that on her birthday, haha.

Thanks Hazel, it certainly is an exciting year! I'll be getting a referral to an ENT in a couple of weeks, we are currently on a very last ditch attempt to shift the ear pain (ongoing since Christmas). I must admit, I think TMD is likely, I clench my jaw and grind my teeth a lot.

Lily I can't see the police being too impressed at him if he calls to complain that you drove carefully behind him rather than pushing him into the kerb and helpfully suggested he use the designated cycle path for his own safety in future (seeing as how when I cycled drivers used to bonk their wing mirrors on my handle bar regularly as they squeezed by in traffic) at which point he decided to verbally attack you. If anything he is now more at fault in their eyes than you'd ever be.

    Enjoy your bath!

Managed to oil most of the garden furniture... it then rained of course.

Punk doc if voyeurism is the only problem I have a lilly white arse that has enough "reserves" for a very harsh winter and an ill fitting bikini which always reminds me of playdough that'll soon put them off. ;) If only it were that easy.

Evening all. I've finally caught up with myself and now watching the tennis...had to record it as we went out for tea and then, after doing the cake, got caught up in Murray No 2's doubles match! I really have to go to bed though  image

Bit late , but cake for anyone who wants it. image

It's very sickly! The lemony sponge helps to counteract it a bit though  image

Had to laugh at your comment re Roger, Dove. Nice 'return'....do you see what I did ? image

Sorry you had that doc - they're horrible. I knew what caused mine, so that made it slightly easier to fix.

Miserable, cold day here. Had to put the heating on when we got in. image

LP - when I think of the money that's been spent on these cycle lanes.....image

It is consistently so cool and wet and grey and stormy here that I have been curled up with a rug on the sofa this evening starting Xmas red and green cross stitch on a border for a wee guest hand towel.   We have also started snacking on last year's Xmas cake which we forgot about with winter being so relatively warm.

    Talk about Topsy Turvy!

If it ever gets warm enough to ripen our raspberries so they aren't just watery I may well make a lemon drizzle cake with raspberries.  Looks gorgeous.

Just wrote a post and the message came up that the page couldn't be displayed so I clicked on the "troubleshooter". It said that this website is invalid! Since the site changed I often get the "page can't be displayed" notice. Does anyone else?
