    Morning all.

Overcast and a wee bit damp this morning.

Typically , they've asked me to go out driving this morning. Just shadowing another driver so I can get up to speed with new handsets, paperwork and vans. Wouldn't it be funny if it was the young driver I trained 2 years ago?

Send the rain over here. I can't cope with the heat; due to my broken bits I neither sweat nor glow.

I go plum coloured and fall over!

At least you won't need to water the pots today with a little rain. Means more time for just enjoying.

His lordship hasn't slept well the past few days so last night I aimed the huge fan at him and put it on full bore. He might have frost bite in a few toes but he's still asleep and I dare not move less I disturb him!

I couldn't sleep Friday night after the news, so I ended up getting up early, watering the plants, doing the supermarket run before in laws arrived. Coming out there was a hells Angel on a motorbike with a sidecar.

The passenger also had hells Angel leather jacket on and lovely flowing hair but no crash hat. I had to do a double take... It was a,labradoodle I think. It made me smile anyway. I am currently in Hathersage after a family reunion dinner and far too much alcohol last night. Who knew the Chinese made a lovely ice wine?

Still too hot, slept on top of the covers.

How dare they only give the dog half a uniform. They should at least have included a helmet.image

Hubby has just checked his weather station and said our maximum today was 7.5c and it's currently 4c at 5pm, but minis 3.5 overnight. I hope you're all making the most of tyour 30c days. image

    Great story fidget  image

Currently about 12 or 13 here Pat. No wind though, so it feels quite pleasant. I suppose we're so used to lower temps here that 13 doesn't seem that bad - even in mid July!

I was hoping the rain would go off so that I could get some fence done image

It's that very fine stuff that you can hardly see, but good for the plants  image
