We are having sil, bill and niece for Sunday lunch (well roast beef for dinner, not them) and none of us want to miss the tennis so I've set up the laptop on a pan stand in the corner of the room and will have the iPad on the table. Strawberry tart and cream for pud of course. Fingers, toes and everything crossed for Andy. Off to a good start with a good win in the wheelchair final.
Flumpy I hope your Dad is making good progress with his recovery.
I must admit that Hubby has also "discovered" the Soothers. I limit myself to when I really need them, but I find I need to buy more each shopping day .
Winding down now for an early night. Our son has already gone to bed.
Wonderful scenery in Andorra, for the bike race, and the commentary is good too. He is currently explaining that in Australia if you say sommeone looks really crook, it means they look pretty sick (especially after a hill climb). I'm reminded of the time I put it on here and the amused comments I got.
Just what I didn't need. A crown has fallen off my tooth just before store opened this morning and I'm on tills all day. ggrrr.
LP, I have to do my best " I'm sorry but I must maintain total neutrality on such matters" Like the customer who said this morning " I know in Cornwall we voted to Leave, but we can't leave until the EU forwards all our money to Cornwall" ermm....... duhhhhhh.
Absolutely agree Fairy - Mac looks soooooooooooooooo much better than Cash ... love the silver. And is that all Cash's own or has he borrowed some?
Re my earlier post about the herb bed - I just mentioned to OH a thought I've been having about turning that area at the edge of the terrace into another (bigger) pond and turning the smaller one under the ash tree into a bog garden - I thought he'd give me 'one of those looks' but he's all for the idea - it's on the cards for next spring
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

One down....
Well done to Gordon Reid in the men's wheelchair singles - let's hope it's the start of a good Brits day

Night Pat - oh, you've probably gone already
I'm going to have to go back out...to walk, or to do stuff in the garden, rain or not. My nerves aren't up to it
How did I manage to watch the first final he was in ?
And Pat Cash needs to grow up and stop dying his hair
You're in your fifties man, you're fooling no one...
Take a hint from Mac. He was a better player than you for a start, and he knows how daft you look
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
on a lighter side. Van in car park to-day for a local mobile disco " Disco In Kernow"
for those not in the know. Kernow is the Cornish name for Cornwall.
The sun's out now Fairy so I'll send it North for you

Given this year's rain, a bog garden sounds just the right idea Dove.
Disco Inkernow made me lol
Right, sofa secured, F1 banished from my screen, cuppa in hand .......COME ON ANDY
