18C and overcast today with a light breeze so feeling fresh.   Rain due at the end of the morning so I still can't go and spray the bindweed patch - all treasures cleared to a nursery bed for quarantine and weeds left to grow and be zapped.

More attic clearing this morning thin and maybe some gardening this pm.

I am also a schlepper with a whole set of cast offs from OH and my own former smarter clothes that do for gardening and DIY and general pottering.   The kaftans are for when I'm clean and ready to snuggle on a sofa with a dog or even an OH to cuddle.   Possum only does snuggles when she's feeling low so not a lot of those about.

    Morning image

Looks like another warm one today. Shame we need to get on and do the hedge. Fortunately OH does all the really hard work & I go behind and clear up. It's a big job & I don't suppose it will be finished in one day - but I might be able to get to the water butts and find the bottle of tomato food by this evening.

Fairy - we watched The Adventure Show - coast to coast - last night. Really enjoyed it - thanks for the heads up image. Is Becks any good? - I've been recording it. BTW - I thought some of those comments on the other thread were wholly unnecessary too - some people seem to get very tetchy over nothing don't they?

We watched the first of an international photography competition on Sky Arts. A bit Bake Off meets Sewing Bee but with cameras. OH is the photography buff and he found the discussions about composition etc quite interesting.

Hope you all enjoy your Sundays. I'll be there for lunch about 12.30 if that's ok Dove? image

T'bird - I really enjoyed Beck when I saw it before - last year I think image

Glad you enjoyed the prog. It was a repeat but I hadn't seen that one. It's a bit random sometimes image

    That particular poster has 'previous'....image

Not seen that photography prog. You should get your OH to do a few pix and put them on the camera thread  image

I need to feed my toms too. That'll do them after that. Hoping some will start to ripen soon  image

Clouded over here, so today is a gardening day.

Invested in some new lilac geraniums (splish splash and mrs kendall clark) which need to be got in the ground.  Also ridiculously excited that my salvia caradonna cuttings all seem to have taken .....8 more of that great plant for next yearimage.  Still a bit of a novice when it comes to cuttings, so gives me a buzz when it worksimage

Chicky - Mrs KC is one of my favourite geraniums - such a pretty colour. It can be quite a large plant if it likes the spot - 3' high - and I usually have to provide a bit of support with twiggy sticks. Cut mine hard back about 3 weeks ago & one of them has already got a second flush of flowers image - and at a 'better' (ie lower) height so won't need support. Often get seedlings - but it's not invasive. A good plant to have image

Right - must get out there with the rake...

Good morning all image  Slept well after the early cuppa and toast.

Looks as though there has been some rain earlier.

    Have a good day.

    Morning all.

Perfect garden weather here. Bright and coolish.

Mum is off up home today so I'll think I've gone deaf for a day or two...and starving image

I think I'll spray the "hardware" today. I haven't needed to do it so far this year but the grass is getting a bit forward. I'll happily pull out the big weeds but hell will freeze over before I do 300m by hand to pluck out blades of grass!

    Happy gardening.

Just retreated inside to watch some GP Pre waffle. I'm afraid I'm giving up with the front garden and will be investing in some weedkiller: the block paving is doing my fruit loops in.
