Yup I read the book a while back. Makes you wonder how much has changed?

daughter was living in China at the time and said it was scarily realistic! you HAVE to have a " helper" in H K. It's your duty  image

Hello all. I'm planning on staying in bed for a while longer. Hubby has got dressed nd wandered out to the living room for when Son wanders out. Rather generous considering it's his birthday today. My cough sounds a bit worse, so I'll have to try to cover it up. Our Daughter and Grandson are expected around lunch time. Holding off on the gift giving until then.

    Good morning all image

It was beautiful outside when I got up half an hour ago - now it's clouded over and doesn't look as promising for gardening ...

    Morning allimage

I spy blue skyimage. But the weatherman tells me not for long.  Quick brekkie, dash to the GH to open the windows (pausing on the way to smile at all my flowersimage) .........and then time to be up and at 'emimage

Will be very strange this evening not to have any sport on telly.  Have really enjoyed this Wimbledonimage

Hope you all have a good start to the week.  Still thinking positive thoughts for pdoc???

Morning all! Firstly happy birthday Pats other half!

No sign of any rumblings from the tea. Fidget you're correct they do contain senna. Due to multiple medical conditions my stomach doesn't always react as expected with laxative type properties. So far no reaction I am still so full of yesterday's glut fest. I might not need to eat for a week which is a shame because the fridge is still full.

My morning tea tastes rather like the nutritional supplement I feed the dog. Nutty with a hint of floor sweeping.

Off to work (today is my day off) for a day of phoning primary schools to announce some fantastic news for foundation years. Unfortunately we only just got the news ourselves on Thursday so not ideally timed in terms of getting schools to know about it to book for next term. Still we do like a challenge!

I hope the rain lingers heavily over my garden so it's sunny for the rest of you!
