@chicky, you’re alright regarding displaying your Easter picture, as the Easter season runs until Pentecost, which is 7 weeks after Easter Sunday, so display your beautiful work until then, if you wish (or beyond, really, as it’s so lovely). Your Mums work is also beautiful @SherwoodArrow.
Still no luck here finding kits or patterns online but I was at a "salon" today - AMour du Fil at nantes so patchwork, embroidery and some knitting and tatting. I found this company https://www.chatdanslaiguille.fr/les-kits-c102x4201029 with some horridly twee designs but also some which will stretch my knowledge of stitches and keep me busy whilst laid up with another new knee this summer.
Some of the English stitchers I follow had stalls there ….it looks an amazing event. Lucky you getting to go. Really like some of the designs in your link - they may be twee but also quirky enough to carry it off 😵. Particularly like the turtle - that would look great embroidered on a canvas tote bag
@chicky Ha! I was thinking the same about that turtle but on a smarter bag like the Sashiko pocket I did on Possum's red bag a few pages ago. I have some sea creatures patchwork fabric too.
Yes, it was that show. It's an annual event and just over an hour's drive away so I go every year with a car load of friends from the patchwork club tho we now also do embroidery, appliqué, crochet and knitting - hence my new found "skills" and interest in embroidery of the non twee variety.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Definitely not me! I don’t know who does them, but the postbox is outside the Sidmouth branch of Waitrose, and gets changed regularly for a topical theme. I usually try to get a picture each time to post on here, you may have seen the St Patrick’s Day and Christmas versions.

I have moved on to using leather to make handbags and bought 5 skins for 20€ today plus a paper piecing elephant pattern https://www.aufildemma.com/modeles-de-patchwork/16990-the-elephant-abstractions-quilt-l-elephant-modele-de-patchwork.html and some fabric.
Took a class in kaleidoscope patchwork using African wax print fabric which was really good. Lots of homework now then but not tonight. Shattered.
