@tui34 lovely bags - much better painting than I could do - I love the umbels, particularly and the sense of perspective. A great gift. Is the colour fast when wet?

Thank you @Valley Gardener and @Fire   Yes, I used fabric paint and it will be fast when I iron them.  My cabbage looks a bit like a lettuce that's why a put a white butterfly above it!  Still, I did enjoy doing them and wasn't sure whether to do more vegetables and crowd them a bit or leave it simple.  Maybe lest is best!

One is for a very kind woman from Avignon that sent me lots of different seeds at Christmas for my summer (and winter) garden.  She had painstakingly put a few seeds of many different varieties into little plastic sachets.  I can imagine the time it her took to do that - all neatly labelled!!  The other is for my niece who is 13 soon and has a balcony garden outside her bedroom.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

@tui34 You have inspired me to knock up a few seed bags with left over dress fabric. It took about 20 mins and is very worth it.

@Valley Gardener They are superb and I just love the first one. If that were mine I wouldn't part with it! I'm sure the owners of the others will be well pleased.
