WoW some stunning work on those quilts. Not all to my taste but no matter the patterns and subjects the level of expertise is incredible. Way beyond my patience limits.

Most were not to my taste this year but all had a level of skill and artistry I can only dream of.

Looks so soft @Hazel 1 , lovely.  I don't crochet properly, I hold the crochet hook in my right hand and crochet as if I am knitting.  Have just completed the second critter, this one is for Gabriel my youngest grandson, the sheep was for Jonah the oldest.  I'm doing a fox next for my grandaughter.

Not much of a crafter, tbh, but did go on a two-day willow weaving course at Easton Walled Gardens recently... if I had a pound for everyone who’s seen it and said: “Wait ... You? YOU made that...?” I’d be a very rich lady!!!

I really like that. You must have a good eye to get the animal so realistic. Well done you.

Thanks @Hazel 1 .  That's fab @Janie B I'd love to go on a course, keep looking for one locally but so far no joy.

Thanks, but I can't really take much credit... we had a lovely teacher (Sue Kirk) who was always at hand to bend a willow to the right place!

He's lovely but may I offer a word of advice?  Take him under cover before winter or else dry him out thoroughly and then spray with a clear varnish to protect him.

I once made a wonderful willow obelisk at a day course and proudly put it out in the garden with a genteel clematis Brunette planted to grow up and thru.  It did not survive the first winter - gales and wet and frost got it.
