Well done Pitter patter. It’s very colourful and it’s obvious how much work you’ve done.
Why not start another one. They are always going to look beautiful together.

  • That’s probably what I will end up doing, Pat. I’m thinking of improving some other skills, so I’m always checking this thread to see what others are up to.
  • Thats absolutely beautiful @pitter-patter, crotchet is so clever,I love to watch people who can do it. Did you choose the placement of colours?

  • Yes, I have chosen the colours and did the edge and some other minor alterations.
  • A beautiful colour combination, isnt it nice to know there isnt another one the same in the world.😊

    Not exactly crafting.
Someone  gave me a boot scraper for Christmas.  I thought it was too nice to scrape  my wellies  on so I  made it into a clock.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

I have decided to try Chinese water colour painting, I have wanted to try for years and never got round to it, so I thought maybe this is the time to try, and maybe take my mind off all the negative thoughts in my head at the moment and turn them into positives! Has anyone acquired this skill on here? @Dovefromabove and @Pat E I know you both paint, any tips on this medium please? I have ordered ink and chinese paints, have yet to order Xuan paper, I think semi treated is ok for beginners? I already have some brushes so now can't wait to get started!

Floralies, I’ve tried, but find the brushes are too big for me. I’m used to using very small brushes for botanic art, such as 000.   My Chinese brushes are still there in my art room, but not tempting me 😳. Sorry I can’t be more help.

Love the blanket @pitter-patter. I do watercolour painting but not tried Chinese style at the moment I’m using coloured art pencils. I’ll post a couple of my attempts when I get a minute
