Oh like that, lovely sentiment. My mum would have loved that when she had her caravan, it’s exactly what she used to think.
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.
  • @Jaquimcmahon.  Oh to be that young and carefree again.
My daughter has just got herself a trailer tent and I'm very envious.
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
  • I've only just seen this thread, and there's a great deal of talent here.

I'm not very crafty (in the sense used here), so appreciate the skill of others.

Family suggested I try sketching, but that didn't work.

    Congratulations to all of you!!😊👍

@rowlandscastle444 you can get better. I couldn't draw my breath but I went to watercolour art 'class' (it was more of a demonstration really) and was able to draw recognisable things after a while. Watercolours are the divil's medium. Happy accident my a$$!
My biggest success to date was a tiny pencil drawing of one of my mum's favourite views. She recognised it!!! That was years ago so I quit while I was winning.
  • Thank you @plant pauper for the encouragement.
Unfortunately, I have the shakes, due to long-term epilepsy, which is deteriorating.

Gardening is one of those things that is not affected by the shakes - except possibly using power hedge trimmers or power saw. Wife definitely WON'T let me try those!!😵‍💫

Almost took a finger off while using a handsaw on one occasion. A & E doctor said I should have worn protective gloves. I had been!!! 😳 Told him he should see the gloves!🤣

@rowlandscastle444 I still have the scars from a handsaw incident years ago and no medical excuses, just numptiness!
I think your wife has the right idea! 🤣
