I knit my husband a plain black one back in the day. I have never seen a garment get so much love/wear/abuse. It was demoted so many times that it eventually became an extra blankie for over his feet in his damp, mouldy student digs! He's probably still wearing it in he££ wherever his afterlife took him. 🤐
Oooohhh... nice @SherwoodArrow. Very neat and tidy and no puckers! Lully!
I bought OH a T shirt with that phrase. According to number two son he officially has a library; the two of them counted one Sunday afternoon. 🤣
I can’t take any credit for the phrase or book shelf pattern, I came across it on Pinterest and thought it was perfect for my friend, so I had a go. She has just come back from a holiday with 20 new books so I think it’s right! I too love books and have loads but definitely not a libraries worth 😂.
@Lyn Golly! I knitted one like that for me in the 1970s !! I loved Starsky and Hutch! Don't now where it is now - got lost in the many moves across the seven seas. It looked great with jeans or a skirt and boots.
Great job - I also appreciate the work and expense that has gone into that garment. It will be treasured.

Failure is always an option.
