No idea about the properties of plasticote.  Have you red the blurb on the tin?

I once saw a shoal of silvery metal fish "swimming" thru ornamental grasses on a trade stand at Chelsea flower show.   It lloked very effective and good fun to do.

It doesn’t really say. It does say it’s suitable for outdoor projects on wood, plastic, stone etc.

I like the colourful glass ones, but they are very pricey and not guaranteed frostproof.

It did cross my mind to paint them with metallic silver instead of transparent, but I wanted more variation.

I’ve made some more in the meantime and finished a cushion cover as well.

    Note: Edited to replace photos.

@pitter-patter. Your cushion cover is a work of art. Well done. :)  Hope you find something to protect the fish.

Thanks both. They are quite easy to do and the flowers can be replaced nearer to Christmas to keep them going. The Holly berries are fabulous this year.

That looks like it was fun to do @Mary370.   Was it a kit or a pattern or did everyone do their own thing?
