Just heard. It's official! After all the grim news my  family in Moscow have had this year my daughter is expecting. 7th attempt at IVF so we thrilled. There may be genetic issues but wild horses won't stop this pregnancy!!! She is 14 weeks!!!

    so happy!!!

LillyP - wonderful news!!! imageimageimageimage  So pleased for you all ((hugs))

Hosta image  Forkers, I can confirm that he is but a shadow of his former self image

It's lovely out there - we've been in the garden since just after brekkie - OH has dug over the  rest of the veg patch so I'll get a teepee image erected and so some Borlotti beans .  The broad beans are over now so some Swiss Chard (Lucullus) will go in that patch.

I've summer pruned the espalier pear - we have fruit on it for the first time - the June drop has happened so fingers crossed image

Now I'm going to summer prune the goosegogs ...

I'm going to summer prune the goosegogs as well. They're coming out. I only grew them for Dad, I have a load in the freezer from last year, and no one wants them.
