So sad to hear about your horse Lizzieimage. Beautiful creatures with such personalities - such a shame.

Just checked the weather forecast, and it is supposed to be fine, so I am taking the afternoon off from work to re-visit Waterperry.  Hopefully their long border will be in its full glory - will let you knowimage

Dad is doing fine thanks - waiting for his broken foot to heal, but no mini-stroke after effects.  He is now back in his own home, with lots of friends popping round to help him.  He did his first ever online grocery shop yesterdayimage

Hope Fairy enjoyed the first night in her new bed???

Morning Chicky and Clarington and others as they come on line. I had a laugh about your father doing his first on- line shopping.  Good for him. I hope he didnt have as mch trouble as I have had with my new toy - iPhone. It is driving me crazy. I think I've turned it off and next time I go to town because we only get reception when we are there, and turn it "on", it's already "on" and the battery nearly flat. Hubby just rolls his eyes and tells me again how to do it. image I really miss my old phone which has now been disabled image.

we've been out the back of the property again this afternoon cutting yet another trailer load of firewood. The fire hasn't been out for weeks.

anyway, have a good day everyone. Hope your weather holds out for you.

Morning all image  Practising having a lay in ... again

It's overcast out there, but I think it's brightening.

    Morning all.

Woke up an hour earlier than usual - and Dove calls it a lie in! Went to bed late as chatted on phone to my sister, about family, Brexit, but mostly about our old horses - hers is now 25 and going strong.

Enjoy Waterperry, Chicky, one of my favourites.
