Evening all. A downpoury kind of day but at least it was slightly warmer.

Had to go to B&Q after work but older fairylet made dinner so that was a bonus. Did 'the lad' get beaten Dove? Not seen or heard yet. I'm making an assumption though image

He was so thrilled the other day, and his supporters too. It was a great match too, and a well deserved win.

doc- it's such an unpleasant situation. Think you're handling it extremely well. If you get the jump on him by contacting the police first, it makes a big difference, especially if you 'keep the heid' ...image

I now have a bed to sleep in  - may even sleep in it tonight!

I'll have to rig up a curtain though. Don't want to frighten the natives... image  image

The crowd loved him Fairy. The match had  a more of a Davis Cup atmosphere.image

Feeling sad about my little Arab horse who died this afternoon aged 28. Had him since he was young and I wasn't there to say Goodbye. Housesitter rang up this afternoon, see Worries thread.

But we had quite a nice earlier part of the day. I found a book voucher for OH and some garden vouchers for me in my handbag that we'd been given for Christmas. Wish I'd remembered earlier when I was doing the little garden here image So we went to Smith's and the Garden Centre in Diss. But I didn't buy anything, don't need anything yet. But when (if) I get rid of the brambles and bindweed on the slope behind the wall I think I'll cover it in rock plants and rockery sedums, aubretia etc. Vouchers run out in 2018.

Then we drove to local villages for a look round and found yet another ancient beamy pub where we had half a pint each and I had Cromer crab salad image and OH had smoked salmon salad sandwiches. Probably a good thing as we weren't hungry tonight image

    Thank you Hazel.

Have just read back. I hope punkdoc's neighbour decides to move house, sounds a nightmare.
