Kitty - I'm still laughing! You've been too subtle for the 'lilies'! ....
Haven't seen the Coldplay set - not a fan either really, but I did watch ELO last night and they were great - and I'm not a fan of them either! I'm sure Jeff Lynne is a really nice bloke, and I'm sure he's probably very amusing in private, but he's got as much charisma as a wet weekend. Freddie , he ain't!
Glad all went well with the pix LP

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Strangely enough, I was just thinking that they could have done with a Noddy Holder or Roy Wood to front that band, and then Jo Wiley or Mark Radcliffe said the same thing! Slade would be brilliant as a 'closing' act there. They'd be good fun

Roy Wood's mum, used to teach me, at primary School.
Why is it, that weeds grow faster than flowers. The garden is like a jungle, I am half expecting to find a lion in there, when I get round to clearing it.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I used the ignore button before too Yvie, but everything went haywire with the forum updates and it's reverted. Actually, in this instance, I'm glad. It's someone I intended reporting a long time ago,but gave them the benefit of the doubt, hoping it would improve
Have you put the WHOLE world to rights Dove?

Evening all!
With you there fg. I thought Jeff Lynne was as dull as dishwater.

doc - are you out in your pith helmet?...
I've just reported someone. Had enough of the tone of the remarks.
My stressful day at work has been carried home...
I have a bit of fondness for the old Glam rockers. Roy Wood always seems a decent bloke, and I love Noddy H.

Have been reading the Independence Day thread. That was a mistake. Never used the ignore button before, but I have now.
Not felt much like gardening today, haven't felt much like anything really. My mag turned up though so I'll have a browse later with a cuppa.

Had a lovely visit to Nut's garden - lots of great developments - and a couple of hours chin wagging to put the world to rights
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
