Had a great day. We went to Peter Beales Classic Roses Festival. Like a village fete in a lovely garden. Our friends enjoyed it too. Then, after a snack in the food tent, we went to Bressingham Gardens. We all went on both the steam trains and the Carousel. Then she and I walked round the garden and he and OH looked at the steam museum. Then it was 5pm and closing so we went to Diss for a drink in a pub by the lake. Now back at the cottage having been out to dinner in another pub. But hope that Dove will be better and we can go to Peter Beales again, with Topbird, when our friends have gone.

    Now going to read back.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Ride on a train, ride on a carousel, pub then another pub - nice roses for good measure - sounds like a good day BL   image

    Good morning,

Had a bit of a read back, you have all been very busy, couldn't quite catch up with it all. image

Tricky week-end here but it we got through it in a civilised way as best we could. The garden is Open tomorrow for a small private visit from some gardeners from somewhere or other, part of the Open Gardens scheme, but they are only here for an hour and then onto the next garden, I am not stressing too much about it, the poor garden although beaten about a bit is ok and more colour than last Sunday too.

B&B is full again too most of this week.

Life goes on, the same but different if that makes sense, tricky but bearable, for now. The sun is looking like it might make an appearance anyway so that always helps. image

Have a good day all. image

Good to hear from you DD. Stressful time - hope you can get through it. You're a remarkably strong, resilient person and that helps enormously.  Thinking of you. x

Hi Fairy. Hope everyone has a good day. Might be in bed early tonight because we have to get up very early for an ophthalmic appointment in Canberra. image
