Good morning, very misty and much cooler. We had about half an hour of heavy rain last night which the garden will have loved, as will the midges
Hosta I am a shocking sleeper too so I do sympathise I do as Bushman and listen to something
DD I truly am amazed at your energy! had a text from my nephew last night who was returning from Bordeaux and the plane had to make an emergency landing at London he was asked to make the announcement for the French passengers as better French than the crew!!! How's that for a Glaswegian
Clarington you sound as if you are doing just fine! Worst thing is to get downhearted . I spend every Mon day to Friday losing what I put on st the weekend, then start all over again!
gentle gardening again today, still sore after tumble
Fiary enjoy your walk hope the weather clears up for you.
had anyone seen Steve the vet recently? I think we may have lost him with the "upgrade"
have a good day everyone and stay safe!

Chicky every evening I sat in traffic and on motorway on my journey home. My commute could be worse but it's still a bore. About a mile and a half from home is a tiny but particularly beautiful and well tended garden and it was like a little beacon of hope glowing with neat lawn and bright colourful planting. I made a note of the address and wrote a Thank You note addressed to "the gardener". I often wonder what they thought when they read it. I still drive past on occasion and it's still lovely and well cared for though slightly lower maintenance I notice. It must be the same folk who live there and I'm still thankful thirty years on. People like it when you admire their garden. I know I did when mine was worth admiring.
Hosta, dinny be say daft we can all be techy sometimes, even me!! Sometimes i just takes a cuddle or alternatively there is always G & Ts (malt for me)
Hosta you have said kind and encouraging things to so many of us, let us try and do the same for you
just been out for a look about and filled a full 9" pot with snails! If I chick them in the pond will they be part of the natural food cycle or do I need to stand on them. I really am a woose and kill anything

Morning all.

Forgot to mention for all you Scots and West coasters. I've had about fifteen or twenty raindrops. It's trying reeeeeally hard!!
pp - it seems we won't be getting any appreciable rain until Sunday
more watering today.
I used to have a seep hose but the squirrels trashed it.
Morning all.
What a lovely idea PP, to write to them.
Shopping for the Strawberry Tea this morning.
DD has lost quite a bit of weight since I first met her, unlike me! She isn't 27 yet though.
I am so sorry for my grumpiness . I really don't deserve your kindness.
This "TATT" Tired All The Time is so debilitating I could just sit and weep sometimes .
I'm going to try to either be more cheerful, or not post anything negative.
Sorry.

Sob it out HF. There are few things more frustrating or misery making than lack of sleep.

Lily, stamp on them, then throw them in the pond.
I finally got my courgettes in last night. Sweetcorn to plant today, then forgetmenots to rip out.
Have a good day folks.
