Dove, are you setting up a July thread? I can hardly believe how quickly June has disappeared.
I have to admit that we don't get up early any more unless there is an appointment somewhere. We go to bed late, 1-2am, than sleep until a our 9. My reasoning is that for 40 years we leapt out of bed early for work, and now that we are retired, we can enjoy our lazy mornings to suit ourselves.
enjoy while you can Dove.
I don't know the people that have been spoken about in your parliament, but our Federal election here is on Saturday. Luckily, because they closed our school, we were allowed to make a postal vote, so that was done last Friday.
If I find myself having another lay in tomorrow morning someone else can start July's 'Hello Forkers' ... as long as they put a link to it at the end of this one, and a link to this one at the beginning of the new one, all will be well
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Word on the grape vine, via an acquaintance who is an MP in N. Yorkshire, is that Cameron and Osborne had "something" on Boris, and basically threatened him.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Am completely bemused & not a little frightened by the political turmoil of the last week. Also spitting nails at anybody I hear saying "I only voted "OUT" because I wanted to teach 'them' a lesson - I never thought 'they'd' win - I didn't think all 'this' would happen - wish I could change my mind". Some people need to pass an IQ test before they are allowed on the Electoral Roll...
That said I know people who voted OUT and are glad they did. Fair do's - it's a different view to mine - but differing, reasoned points of view are the basis of a democracy.
On a brighter note. The electricity has been restored quicker than they said it would so I can put the camping stove away

Stirs things up then doesn't know how to cope. Boris. . . all mouth, no action.
No, apparently it's much more interesting than that .... Boris has been shafted!!! Will anyone trust either of them ever again???
