Good to hear your Dad is improving chicky.

Sorry to hear your aunt is unwell dove, a very worrying time.

Clarington: Any idea what it is about wind that makes them so crazy? I've noticed it too but have no idea why.

    See original post

I wish I knew Kitty! I have found the weather has a huge effect on children visiting the museum and teachers have told me a windy day can be HELLISH in the classroom but have never thought to research if anyone has investigated why.

It's the same with cattle - has anyone seen a field of heifers with 'the wind up their tails'?

With the dog I blame the wind blowing through his ears and rattling his brain cells around!

    Tee hee.

When I moved from Scotland to Hampshire in 1984, I was astounded at the indignity folk felt about "bad" weather.

Maybe I just used to it in the 28 years I lived there.

Now that I've been in Devon for almost 5 years, I notice it again.

Should the Home Counties always have the best weather?

They sure moan about it when it's not. image

Gorgeous here in Devon again today.

I think you'll find we moan loudly about most things Hostaimage  Mr C refers to us as "braying" types .....but he would also protest loudly that Hampshire is most definitely NOT a home countyimage

The home counties are those that surround London, so here in Hampshire we are not one so Mr c is rightimage
