What lovely news LP-delighted for you all, and will keep all my fingers and toes crossed that all continues to go well
I'll uncross them on the hills though - if that's ok
Did I miss what the photo shoot is for ?
Hope your weekend was really enjoyable B'man
I agree with you about Wales obelixx. I have no real interest, but the pride they seem to have (in general) in their country's achievements is lovely. Having had two major relationships in my life - both avid football fans - it's nice to have control over the TV remote now...
Glad you're a bit chirpier Wonks. I'm about to do spicy chicken for dinner if you want some
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I've got a plaster on a cut finger - consequently I've just typed and lost a huge post telling you everything I did in the garden today
I'll tell you all about it later when the plaster is off. I'll just say that it's been the most productive day in months and months and months, and I've very happy
The weather was so lovely we decided to make the most of it - we'll go and see the British Art Show on a rainy day instead of going there this afternoon.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
What wonderful news, Lily P. Hope all goes well for the whole family.
Lots of us seem to have had a rather better day weather-wise... I had lots of jobs to do out and about, but managed an hour in the garden late on. Next door's cat has taken to sunning himself on my bark path, next to the strawberry patch. I think he's waiting to pounce on unsuspecting voles and squirrels, which are munching on (respectively) green and red strawberries. He's welcome to them!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
LilyP what wonderful news. I'm so pleased for all of you. Enjoy all the comings and goings throughout the week - it sounds like great fun.
Very well done with the weight loss Hosta.
Sorry to hear of so many people on the sofa.
Had a good week at Mum and Dad's though every time I go they seem increasingly frail - not that they would admit it. Apparently an argument (or two) a day keeps them on their toes. Funnily enough I try to avoid arguing wherever possible.
So tired just now so I'll have to catch up properly over the coming days.
fairy the photo shoot is the reason all the family home. They gave me this for my birthday last year. OH and I been slaving away to get it looking good but roses not quite going to make it.
might have to go out with the hairdryer!!

We've had a busy day, went to Somerleyton House and Garden, then to Lowestoft, then Harleston, then to the Fox and Goose in Fressingfield for a fabulous meal. Our friends are going tomorrow.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Evening all, Fairy, wish ud had some of your chicken, microwave korma here hubby had eaten already. BusyL sounds like you are exploring the area! I used to bike to Harleston from Laxfield as a teen
Good to have you back Lesley avoid arguments myself, but if I'm forced into one, I'm sure as heck not losing! but whatever keeps your parents in good spirits!
Just been watching the sewing Bee, its already convinced me to by new bobins and needles and pins I see some misguided experimentation coming on!
Right, off to bed Happy birthday Pat! think it is by now

You must be feeling so much better Dove to have been so busy
and now have a deep sense of satisfaction
.
Enjoy your day off tomorrow.
Glad you've had such a productive day Dove.
I managed an hour of gardening before work, and a quick stop to check what the pound shop had and if B&Q's sin bin had any interesting bits.
Work ok, quieter than normal but that's always nice as it also means getting out a bit earlier.
Slung some chicken manure around the flower beds after getting in from work, probably should have changed out of my work shoes, but never mind.
Waiting for husband to get home to eat dinner, I'm hungry so it's going to be a long 45 minutes to wait!
Great news LP. About time you had some good luck.
Another day over, hoping to plant up my new bed / cut grass tomorrow depending on weather.
