I was appalled to learn (a year or two back) that supermarkets have a policy of NOT watering their plants. Apparently it's a health and safety thing, that staff and customers might slip on spilled water! Glad to see that a certain popular DIY store has no worries about that, nor even of the yards of hose trailing through their garden area!
BUT, even they don't water the plants inside the store! Such a shame!
Where do you put all this stuff AYM? You must have a huuuuuuuuge garden-how about some pics please,I am always interested in how people fit plants into their space. As you know I stuff everything in.
Would you believe that I picked up two very healthy geums (koi variety) in poundland!?! Still dripping from having been watered! That doesn't happen in garden centres!
aym280, I'm going to keep a regular check there from now on! I got an echinachia there last year that was nearly dead and its an absolute monster this year! everything I get is a bargain or recycled, I don't really have the budget for my tastes so I have to be inventive or do !my research! Its good fun though!
Hosta your a lovely fella! thank you! The grasses you gave me are doing well as are the Hostas! I've got a real love of grasses now and have been collecting but not sure of all the names or what to do with them and when! I'm going to take some pics and have an ID parade I think! And come autumn I'm digging everything up that I planted in the wrong place x
aym280, I've never been well off financially, I'll never be able to afford to buy my home but I'm in long term rental which allows me to have a garden I consider myself rich in far more important things, my wonderful hubby, my family, my friends, often hear rich folks moaning! . I'm trying not to buy more plants as I forgot that they grow and now things are getting a little cramped in spots! but I do get so much pleasure from working in the garden and its the only time my mind stops fussing and stressing so I take my pleasures as like you say, it makes me happy! And Happiness is far more important than being well off, best wishes

No. Picture of white jasmine like flowers and very indented, almost fernlike leaves. Label says it's evergreen.
Have got some good stuff from homebase in the past - but not today.
What do you think is the best day to go hunting? Monday, after the weekenders have paid full price?
I suspect that the day before delivery is good - but knowing when that is is the problem.

I suppose, for transportation, dry plants are lighter and less messy.,

Wonky, Hopefully Dove plus OH are heading back this way next year. If so, I'll get a little bundle for you.
