If anyone wants a trip outside and lives in Worksop area your B&Q have some fine plants and vegetables on the reduced shelves.

I was in Lidl this afternoon and I over heard a man ask an assistant if the wilting plants are sold off cheap?  He was told No they just 'Bin them', hmm maybe he should check the bins then ..

B&Q have a Dead trolley, never bought anything much off it...  I noticed Aldis plants look pretty sad at times, when I suggested they should water the plants they said  ' they are not allowed to water them, for health & safety reasons..'..  Crazy justcrazy..

Michael, I wonder who would pay the original £7 for a tray of lobelia!

I've noticed that homebase plants are ridiculously expensive. No wonder there's often rich pickings in the sin bin!

Our lidls tends to get its new stuff on a Thursday so that's a good day to get live plants.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

shame they closed my local B&Q as i used to pop in most weekends

now its very rare i go the extra distance to have a look, there loss then, shop was doing quite well

albeit the wife tells me i need to stop as we have too many plants now and i seem to have had a mid life crisis the last 3 years and turned into a gardener

she is the hayfever sufferer and looks after the house, the garden is mine

i have taken many cuttings from this rented house and even 2 large airlayers from a 50year old apple tree. built a 10ft squared rockery and gained more bonsai trees

i have gained a lot and lost a few things but doing well but i still like to shop and learn what works for me.

its all collecting for when i can finally buy a house... when im 50 no doubt

bargains are the future i have some good looking trees with potential to be nice bonsai in a few years... less than a fiver bought

My mum, sister and, nephew came over yesterday and brought us an orange Gerbera. I am in the middle of making a new border that receives more sunlight hours than the other border I have. Got a few plants to put in there and the Gerbera is one of them. Good bargains there aym...A Penstemon for £2.45. Can't go wrong there.
