Very nice! I've never been able to get one to grow Most likely my fault for putting it in a pot (this was in the days before I had any gardening know how!).
Haha, I will. I think she practically cleared the shelves of Flower magic as it was all either 20p or 50p- she should have amazing flower beds next year!
I was thinking that aym. I'll bung it in the porch over winter. I'll have to take the rosemary out too. I don't think it's the ideal place for it. Will try some parsley or non hardy stuff next year.
I haven't purchased anything this week, but took my mum out. She picked up a few nice half price plants but the best deal was some lovely big wicker potato planters that were reduced from £10 to 50p! So she picked up three of those, and after a bit of discussion she's thinking of putting them in a shady area under their apple trees and planting them up with Hostas and White flowering shade loving plants. Mum's new to gardening, but I've got her into heucheras, she bought her first Hosta yesterday under my guidance (a little Halycon that had been reduced), and I helped her pick out a lovely dogwood westonbirt and sambucus black beauty that had been reduced.
Some great bargains to be had. Can't beat dewdrops £10 to 50p but did pick up a couple of gap fillers. Astilbe "Rheinland" reduced to £1 from £8 in b&q.
That Acer is a great price. I almost bought one for £10 yesterday, but thought better of it in the end. No bargains for me except for the Verbena you saw on Verdun's bargains thread. Looked in a big B&Q that I've done well in before, but there wasn't really anything that appealed to me.

Well done you...Aym. I bet they smell lovely.

Not plants really, but my mum picked these up for me:
£2 each for the greenhouse and cold frame, 20p and 50p for the flower magic.
The cloche greenhouse is a good size:
I haven't put the cold frame up yet, that's even bigger though!

Reduced to a fiver. I think the pot cost more than that.
Pain in the fundament to water though.
Two mints marjoram and rosemary

You've done well.

Clematis cartmanii £2, Large pot of verbena with loads of buds £1 @ B&Q
Homebase stuff would have been better sold as loose tea!
