Just to say I made it into the city after tennis and caught up with OH and niece in Carluccio's. Had a 20 min wait for them as he had his phone switched off and niece had run out of battery image Good job I started on the white wine and olives without waiting for them. image image

We had a great 'grown up' lunch (niece's first three course meal image ) She and OH started with calamari and I had arancini. Then I went on to have a great dish of really good rare roasted beef, gorgonzola, walnuts and salad leaves with a balsamic dressing. OH had a goat's cheese and beetroot salad and niece had linguine al frutti di mare. They finished off with chocolate and salted caramel sundae while I had affogato image

Now we're collapsing on the sofa while niece revises for big exam on Friday.  Think supper will be 'something light'.

Flippin cold here - heating has gone on.  Tomatoes are outside - hope they survive!

and you'd have to get through the brambles first.

Robin Wight is no longer taking commissions for fairies. He makes what he feels like and has sold one on ebay. He said he hated the experience, so the last one he did by sealed bids. He didn't take the highest bid, it went for a lower offer to a hospice in Devon.

He prefers them to be on public display so everyone can enjoy them.  His daughter makes the dandelions, and when we picked them up ast December, the waiting list was over a year.

His son sells small kits with a basic model, instructions and wire so you can make one yourself.

I had one made for me by my hubby, and he has two kits in hand to make more.

Evening all,  I love those fairies but haven't got the bank balance for one.

Feeling very fed up with the site at the moment.  Can't post photos, the view on my laptop is the one most get on their phones so everything is huge - photos wont fit on the page so can't view the whole of a photo in one go. Really missing first unread post.  Getting close to giving up.  Have reported the above on the appropriate thread.
