Still cold and windy today. Sun is out though.

HRH is off colour. She isn't moving very well and is sleeping on the lounge chair beside me. I'm wondering if she will survive this winter, poor old thing. image

Hubby is in town at the chiropractor this morning (again). I think he might have to tell his Dr about his knee when he sees him in a couple of weeks.  It's not getting any better and has been a couple of months now since he injured it. Typically, he was trying to get the scoop onto the front of the tractor and couldn't wait for someone to give him a helping hand.  Age catching up with us as well as impatience to get a job done. image

I realise none of you will be on for a few more hours, but good morning when you do.image

It's early even for me these days, and I'm still in bed but can't get back to sleep so thought I'd say hello image

Afternoon Patimage I'm enjoying a peaceful early morning cuppa.  Poor HRH (cuddles)  OH did what many of us are apt to do at times and then suffer for it. Four of us are

going out for lunch for a friend's birthday so I wont be doing any gardening today.

Morning to others as they arrive image

    Morning allimage

More rain overnight ...that'll settle my new plantings in nicely.

Got a garden lecture tonight .....pests and diseases ......cheerful stuff, but hopefully will come away a wiser chickyimage

And before I forget .....good luck Lizzie for giving your talk on Thursday....hope powerpoint behaves image, and you get lots of interested questions.  Not sure I'd be brave enough to do itimage.  Used to have to do it quite a bit in a job of yesteryear, and only got through it by pretending I was someone else (ie someone who liked standing up in front of loads of people).  Don't laugh.....it workedimage

  • Morning all. Looks like a rainy day here too. Work will be calling soon, boo. Hope everyone has a great day image

Morning all. Heavy rain here; unfortunately I expect to hear of several bonks on the roads as there is a lot of standing water :(

Chicky; I do a lot of public speaking. I get so nervous before and strangely after but while I'm doing it I really enjoy it. NEVER ever do the whole imagining naked people Lizzie! Imagine them eating cake with cream that looks at any minute like it'll drop down their tops.

My last presentation the projector went awol so I had no slides or pretty pictures. Act confident and bluff your way through!

I've just got back from taking HRH to the Vet. She has very badly infected gums. Because she is so old and also has bilateral heart murmurs, they don't think they can remove her old rotten teeth, no wonder her breath was so high. It's been an ongoing worry. When I go back to the Vet for follow up, I'll ask if there is some way I can keep her teeth clean. She's on antibiotics for now.

Freezing outside. I've just been out to close the GH and cover the chilli. There was snow at Thredbo last night, so that explains the freezing wind.
