    Morning all. image

It was an elderly ENT surgeon who told me about the smell of manure clearing the nostrils.

Ah yes, the benefits of inhaling ammonia from the urine-soaked straw of the stock yard - nothing like it image

Lovely sunny day here in Norfolk image

Pat - we spent some time at the zoo yesterday admiring the vocal antics of a family of kookaburras image

Hopefully going out to play in the garden this morning. Washing machine is on, will fling the hoover round the hall and lounge in a mo and then out I go.  Need to trim hydrangeas and weed the drive.

    Hope all are well.

Maybe Fairy's trapped by the wings under a heap of builders' rubble image

We didn't see a Panda at the zoo yesterday, so she's not there .......... image

    Morning all.

OH's surgeon was less than helpful yesterday about her back.  Her boss recommends a second opinion.  Her sister has a bone scan today to see if the cancer has spread.  Isn't life a bundle of laughs?

Perfect blue sky here with the sun beating down.

Steve sorry to hear about your family's health probs. hope things get better soon.

Dove, I'm glad you enjoyed the laughing kookaburras. I'm never very happy to hear them around the house - they steal baby birds from nests and when a pair of them took up residence in a tree nearby some months ago, all our little birds vanished like magic. I assume they found a safer place to set up home. We now have finches, robins and wrens back again and I haven't heard the kookas for some weeks. image
