I'm guessing there's a sleepy Dove dozing on the sofa image thank you everyone for your kind thoughts wishes and hugs x The day went as well as you could hope and there were some nice memories shared, new stories that raised a chuckle and a real coming together as a family, some of which that had not got on before, making an effort and surprising themselves. Dove and her brother did their mother proud image

    Pleased for you FITR.

Punkdoc - I think men should be MADE to wear pink chiffon meringues and pink high heels for at least a whole day as part of their training for life.

Dove and WW - hop eit's been a good day on the whole.

Just got in from our last salsa class of the season so a bit of a party with rum and mixers on tap and I made nibbles - Parmesan biscuits with a hint of chilli, cheese and ham muffins, spiced rhubarb cake and chocolate, rum, ginger and pecan brownies.    The last was an experiment and very luscious.

No gardening today other than moving a few big hosta pots form south side to north side.  None tomorrow as it's patchwork day - my first since March cos of splintered thumb and then limpy dog.  Better go and sort out some fabrics.

    Sweet dreams all.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

That sounds a great day Flowers.image

Liri, how exciting, going to Chelsea, you lucky thing. Please post photos.

I was rather regretting not watching Marcella, but after reading what you've all said, I think I'm glad I didn't.

I have found "The Secret" gripping.

If I can get the photo-posting-thingy to work, I will, Lizzie - though from what others have said, I guess most of my photos will be of the backs of people's heads...

Hello everyone. I've enjoyed reading all your posts. Not much to contribute, but we've been watching Lucifer, and I'm still trying to work out who is who and how it will end up. I think I'm getting too old to follow these modern dramas.image

HRH was left in the house while we went to town for Hubby's chiropractic session this morning and found a nice smelly surprise on the kitchen mat when we got home. She's still gastric by the look of it, but happily sleeping beside me on the couch now. image

Im glad Wonky posted that nice bit about the day they had. Have been thinking about how it would go.

isn't it strange how the colour 'pink' has been categorised for females only.  We have a special day in Australia where everyone wears pink to remember and fund raise for breast cancer research. It doesnt seem to worry the footballers.

time for some late lunch. Catch you all later.
