Oh dear Pat, elderly pets are a worry aren't they? My son was advised to clean his elderly cat's teeth with a baby toothbrush - the cat wasn't keen on the idea (to say the least).!

How tolerant is HRH to you touching her mouth Pat? I use a babies tooth brush with dog tooth paste and gently give Reggie teeth a clean. I also have a toothbrush that pops over my finger but he's a bit too chewy for that when he gets carried away.
Never use human tooth paste obviously but even if it only helps a little (Reggie eats raw meat and won't eat biscuits that might help scrub the plaque off) it'll be worth it to keep her comfortable.
Does she eat dentalstix? Perhaps if she'll chew some soft ones aimed at puppies might help if she'll not have grown up ones.
Gardening this morning (if the rain holds off) and a garden visit this afternoon with gardening club, rain or shine so I do hope the rain holds off. Not looking good I'm afraid.
Pets - we love them so much but gosh they come with challenges don't they.
Hope you all have lovely a day.

Morning all/afties Pat. Sorry to hear about your dog. Getting old's rubbish for everyone isn't it?
Love that photo fidget - your fingers look remarkably clean too
I managed to rescue a bee at work yesterday. He/she was in the sink and I poured some boiling water from the kettle into it before I saw him Soon as I realised, I gathered him up and got him to dry land and he wandered off. Must have been a very tough little chap.
Gorgeous here again - sorry to rub it in to all you lot with rain. I'm beginning to feel like Verdun....
Off to salt mines soon so have a good day everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Clari hope you don't get called out,
re the public speaking theme, I used to have to chair large meetings, I had to press a red button which toled the next person they would be called then a green when it was them. Frequently messed up!
Pat I do hope HRH is comfortable, such a worry, hugs

Morning ☺ Had a rubbish nights sleep, something odd was happening with my knee and as a result I have a wee knee limp ?Desperately trying to walk normally though....
Pat, dentastix is what I thought of for HRH... not being a dog owner I didn't know they did puppy ones.
Clari, glad the woof woof liked his rabbit heads. Do you feel like a parent sneaking veg into their child's meal? ?
Having a 'Me' day - Tennis at 11 then into the city for lunch with friend Trying hard to get hair appointment before funeral - don't want to appear too wild and woolly - Ma might disapprove
