That's a fox cub that I hand fed a few years ago.(2010) He used to come to call each night and take food out of my hand. As he got older he got more wary.

A very nosy little fox, he let me pick him up and carry him around the house, all the while very curious about what is going on. His sister was always more wary. usually with the foxes, we have to sit absolutely still when we watch them.
Yes, they hung around together, prettyface went missing for a bit and Grommit used to get mouthfuls of food and disappear and then come back. We think she was injured and he was feeding her, because when she reappeared after a week, she had a bit of a limp.
They dispersed at the end of the summer. There was some work done in the wood next door, and the foxes have moved elsewhere but we still get transients through the garden.
