Morning pat, and all. Looking like another sunny day. Well done dd, impressive. Glad you enjoyed nostell liri. Watched Chelsea(thanks Lesley mojo a bit better). Off to work soon so no gardening, maybe tomorrow...have a good day all.
watched chelsea last night too - really looking forward to seeing Jekkas herb garden and Rosy Hardy and her chalk streams (being a Hampshire girl myself).
Had a lovely lunch with theCanadian cousins, and then sat with coffees watching the boats pootle around the Beaulieu river ...very relaxing.
Sweetpeas start the hardening off process today - aimimg to get them in the ground next weekend. been for my early morning greenhouse inspection - what a lovely morning it is out there.
Thank you for the congratulations, running that far is always easier for me when there is a big crowd and something distracting to look at like the viaduct. I was please to finish 5 minutes sooner than I expected too, although it was 10 minutes short of my PB, although that was about 10 years ago so I suppose that is understandable.
Weather here is supposed to be nice (ish) here today, was red hot on Saturday and apparently rained all day Sunday so the weeds will have been very happy, I need to commence battle, June 12th (Open Day) is looming up fast.
Have a good day all.

Morning Chicky, Joyce, Dd, MrsG and others as they rise,Hi Pat
Congratulations on the run DD. The bridge looks amazing. Chicky, Jekka's herb garden looked lively on TV last night. (Hope she doesn't read this but I named our dog after her). Dermot Gavin's garden is mad, as usual, but it did make me laugh.
It's looking a lovely day atm, maybe I'll manage a bit of tying in - the clematis are a. It of a mess,
Quick pop in - office day today - so need to get skates on.
We had heavy rain last night which the garden needed so no complaints on that score. I put weedkiller on the drive yesterday pm - but it had been down for about 9 hrs before the rain came so I'm hoping it will have had time to start it's work - the drive is green at the moment - consequence of having a drive at the bottom of a slope which tends to flood when it rains hard and all the seeds from the road and hedgerows get washed onto it
Well done to DD - I am certain I couldn't run that far - cycle yes - run no
Dove - Hope you get into your garden later on - certainly sounds as though you were busy this weekend. I couldn't begin to contemplate moving my shed - would be a 3 day / 4 man job
Hope everyone else enjoys their day. I will watch a bit of Chelsea tomorrow / maybe day after then will no doubt lose interest as per. Herb garden sounds interesting....

Fairy that sounds like hard work, go canny
we have cruised twice, I always swore it wasn't for me then discovered the small ships, actually rather liked it but would still choose to walk a beach and stay on land!
have had a lovely weekend with good friends in Drymen (near loch Lomond) how I envy their climate. All the rhodies, azaleas camillias and blossoms out, not to mention huge swathes of bluebells,
forgot about Chelsea too, will look on catchup watched Wallender, haven't a clue what it was about!
have a gold day everyone

Won't let me edit. I meant Jekka's garden looked lovely. It was Dermot's that was lively
Morning all/afties Pat
Forgot about Chelsea. I sometimes get a bit bored with the repetition of the same gardens and features though, so probably doesn't matter!
Congrats DD - it's a great feeling to achieve something you've planned and set out to do.
I'll have a quick look round before I go - could do with being at home to get on with the digging on this lovely day though...
Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Good morning all
G'day Pat
12C overnight and a fine day in prospect - we have an early-ish meeting then hopefully we'll be getting on with the garden ...
