PP I have unintentionally become a collector of Heucheras. . . love the colours and have had some in a hanging basket for a few years as well as in pots. Some on their own and others in mixed planting. When I had them in the ground, I lost them to vine weevil whereas I can protect them in pots.
Lizzie, what tragic news. Thinking of you and your friends' family who have had such a shock. Glad the open day was a success. The Windows 10 'self update' happened to my s.i.l too. Ruddy cheek.
Glad to hear you're all making the best of the weather and such a shame that work gets in the way for some. I'm planning to reseed some bare areas on the front grass (not lawn) but will have to get OH to mow it first.
I've just spent a lovely morning at the dentist and then at hospital for x-rays on my spine so will only be doing light duties for a while. OH has just put the cushion on the garden bench so I'll take up position there for as long as the sun shines.
Enjoy your secret plants Wonky! I've just been separating my bamboo type plant tangle as it's not been reported for five years. I'm hoping it might be a potential nice screen for the wildlife entry point of the pond.
Although clearly these don't seem bothered by lack of privacy!
Rest up Lesley! I'm sure we need to sit in the garden to appreciate it, this can be done with a cushion and a glass of something cool! I will confess to all booty from secret plant stall! I know I can trust you guys and girls!
Clari, what brazenly basking frogs you have! Love to have some bamboo but don't think my garden is big enough, although I'd have something to feed Panda when she visits!
Oh Joyce. Me too but just since last year. I love em but I struggle to get past some of the awful American names.
Turns out I needn't have worried. Once I've planted them I forget what they're called. I love Primula as well so it's vine weevil central here. Mingin wee skitters!!!
Glad you're around doc and Hosta. Think the last unread post function is missed on this thread most of all!
I don't bother with the email notifications. It's always annoyed me I just look at the first couple of pages of threads or the ones I've commented on. As for PMs - I just look every other time I'm on. Works well enough for me and saves the in box being clogged!
Gorgeous day here - have to go back to work now though. It's all wrong though when you have to put more clothing on going into work than when you come outside
Sweet peas are growing though and I'll hopefully be able to plant them somewhere soon.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Just practicing!!! Thiught I'd share my square foot of colour.
Morning all. x
G'day all.
Like Hosta, I am struggling to read back what you are all up to, so am not logging on very often.
I will not give up.
Lovely day here, been for a yomp on the moors, lots of Hawthorn flowers out, so gorgeous smells every where.
Hope all are well.
